1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) by your web browser. They allow websites to recognize you across browsing sessions and remember your preferences.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

a) Essential / Functional Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the Service to function correctly. Without them, you cannot authenticate or access your account.

auth.token — HttpOnly session token for authentication (secure, httpOnly).

auth.refresh — HttpOnly refresh token for session renewal (secure, httpOnly).

color-scheme — Your light/dark theme preference.

language — Your language preference.

appContentLayoutNav — Layout preference (sidebar collapse state, etc.).

Status: Always active. You cannot opt out of essential cookies without losing service functionality.

b) Optional / Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how you use SportAgenda to improve the product. They are not active by default.

sentry-tracing (if NUXT_PUBLIC_SENTRY_DSN is configured) — Error and performance monitoring. Sentry helps us identify and fix bugs in production.

Status: Only active if your administrator has enabled error reporting. See §3 below.

3. Sentry Error Reporting (Optional Monitoring)

SportAgenda may integrate Sentry, an error tracking service, if enabled by the system administrator. If active:

What is collected: When an error occurs, Sentry collects the error message, stack trace, device type, browser version, and approximate location (country/region based on IP, not precise GPS).
Why: To diagnose production bugs and crashes so we can fix them faster.
Who processes it: Sentry (a third-party service); their privacy policy applies.
Your control: You can disable error reporting in your browser settings, or we support an account preference to opt out of Sentry collection for your sessions.

4. Third-Party Cookies

We do not use third-party advertising networks or social media pixels (Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, etc.) in SportAgenda today. Any future analytics integrations will be documented here and require your explicit consent.

5. How to Control Cookies

Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to control cookies via settings. You can usually:

View all cookies stored
Delete cookies individually or in bulk
Block cookies by domain or type (e.g., block third-party cookies only)
Set your browser to reject all cookies (note: this may break SportAgenda functionality)

Disabling Essential Cookies

If you block or delete authentication cookies, you will be logged out and cannot access your account until you log back in.

6. Cookie Duration

Session cookies: Cleared when you close your browser.
Persistent cookies: Remain on your device until they expire (duration varies from weeks to months) or you manually delete them.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies or analytics tools. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent notice on the site.
